Alternative Control: Nothing But Quality

Since September 2010, Alternative Control has brought readers the best in metal, nude beaches, punk vests, and hair dye.  And this summer, we are releasing our SECOND compilation album!  Featuring bands from New York to New Haven to Norway, Quality Control Volume II is a celebration of all the awesomeness we've come across since the last comp.

Want to be part of spreading great local music across the globe?  Donate any amount to help us pay for production of the album, as well as hosting and other expenses the blog incurs.  Here is the breakdown of costs we are looking to cover:

$540 — 300 compilation CDs, shrinkwrapped in cardboard jackets
$30 — economy shipping of said CDs from Discmakers
$50 — album art (thanks for cutting me a deal, Jim Clegg!)
$130 — the blog’s hosting and domain names for the year
