Woodlake Swim & Racquet Club
The Woodlake community suffered a great loss this past April, with the death of Tyler Patnaude. Tyler was a talented young man with a promising future. One of his talents was clearly evident as he played tennis on the first Junior Tennis Team established at Woodlake, where he also worked, maintaining the courts.
In honor of his memory, the Woodlake Tennis Association would like to dedicate a special bench to Tyler, engraved with his name, and placed under a newly-erected, shaded structure, in his memory.
Hello, friends and family. The Tyler Patnaude Memorial Fund is now in the process of organizing a 501-C, Charitable Foundation. No decisions on the allocation of funds have been made at this time, however we will be sure to keep everyone updated.
Thank you all once again for your donations and support. We can't express with words how much it has meant to all of our family.
The donations so far have touched our family in a way we cannot express with words.
As an update, we are in the process of coordinating with both the Rush Creek Yacht Club in Dallas and the Greater Richmond Sailing Association to make the most of everyone's generous contributions. More updates to come, as we continue to piece together these memorials for Tyler.
In memory of Tyler Duane Patnaude, your gift will help establish the Tyler Patnaude Foundation (TPF). Currently, the TPF has been incorporated and is in process of filing for a 501-C.3, charitable organization status. Regattas and other events will very much be a part of what the TPF coordinates, but the bigger vision of bringing leadership and character development to the junior sailing community will be our core focus.
Tyler was an accomplished and avid sailor who loved being on the water. "May you sail forever in Heaven & drift upon its waters" Pictured below from left to right: Peter (father), Payge (sister), Yvonne (mother) and Tyler.
