Help Us Save You with Jaws of Life

The Crockett Fire Department responds to a lot of vehicle accidents within our city and county fire district. We also are primary backup for most all the other fire departments in Houston County. We need a new pair of extrication tools to go on our first out fire engine. Newer technology has made it possible for these tools to be made smaller, more powerful and battery operated allowing for quick setup time and less prone to failure. We have an old combination tool that works poorly and is very old and can no longer be serviced. After arriving with our primary fire engine, we have to wait on the rescue truck to arrive before we can begin extricating any trapped people. This is very risky since we are volunteer and there is a good chance that we do not have enough firefighters to bring the rescue truck. The time wasted in waiting on another truck could likely be the difference between life and death. These smaller and more powerful Jaws of Life will fit in our first out engine and we will not have to wait to begin rescue operations. They are very expensive and we do not have the funds to purchase these without your help. They are cheap if only one life is saved and we use them all the time, so this is a good way for your donation to save a life!
