Jackson and Matthew's medical fund

Hi my name is Ann Mefford and I am the Nana of Matthew and Jackson Horne. The trip to Omaha was met with great success. Jackson has since had the rods replaced in his right femur and right tibia. Matthew fractured his right femur in two places on June 17th, and it was held in place, thank God, by the existing rod and required no intervention. On June 28 Jackson broke his left femur really badly while recovering from the previous surgery. The fracture was so significant that it is requiring surgery to repair it.

While I’m writing this he is currently undergoing surgery to have the rod in the left femur replaced. He will be placed in a body cast for the next 6 to 8 weeks. We thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers, and continued support. Everything you have done for my son-in-law, daughter and grandchildren means so much to the family. With two surgeries, three femur fractures (in one month), several trips to Birmingham, and food & gas, expenses are adding up quickly for them. Any continued support is greatly appreciated.
