Medical/Living Expenses

My name is Chaplain Robert Ousley III and I have been a trauma chaplain for over 25 years. I have sat at bedsides and ministered to patients, family members and staff and it has been the greatest opportunity to serve second to my having served my country as U.S. Marine.  I have performed weddings for some of the staff at the hospital I work at and I so miss not being a part of the day to day activity.  

I now have to begin a new journey because I have been diagnosed with CHF and I am in need of a heart transplant.  Since there is not one available for me at this time, I am on the road toward getting an LVAD. I had hoped to work up until that time but at this writing I find that I can not continue to do so. I am asking for funds to help provide for my family while I am out of work. I have short/long term disability but the process is not always speedy and does not cover all of my medical bills after insurance. Co-pays and purchase of an adjustable bed to allow me to stop sleeping in my recliner is one of the things that I would spend the funds on. Any amount you give will be greatly appreciated. The bible says you have not because you ask not. Thank you in advance for taking the time to either give financially or prayerfully.  I appreciate your thoughts and prayers just as much.
