We Are All Sacred Beings is a business founded on honoring the beauty inside all living being. With this belief, it has saddened the founder, Arien Smith, to see the Western culture of medication and treatment for chronic physical illness and mental illness, instead of teaching the individual to explore themselves and the ways they can learn to heal themselves. Instead, we are all increasingly medicated and dismissed past that. Here, Arien aims to empower individuals to take control of their own health by a means of alternative healing modalities. These include aromatherapy in the form of essential oil blends, volunteer distance Reiki healings when possible, Reiki in person, intuitive energy and past life readings, jewelry charms made for specific energetic purposes, and blog entries for guidance and tips on how to personally heal.

All essential oil blends are given Reiki before shipping to cleanse any residual energy and restore the highest vibration to the healing oils, mist, or aromatic solution. Each bottle is made in person and shipped by Arien or Sydney, with the upmost care put into every element of the product. Additionally, all labels and packages are self designed by Arien, who is also an illustrator.


HOW WE CAME TO BE
Arien Smith has struggled through his own adolescence and adulthood, suffering from a variety of things that are all too common to see in today's society. Arien has been healing from chronic pain for almost a year, relying on alternative medicine when the medical system falls short of helping. He also didn't want to rely solely on medication to make it through an illness. Instead, he dove deeper into his spiritual practice, using that to sustain him while working with his doctor to figure out the physical ailment he faced, while he worked towards the cause of all symptoms.

As a previously trained Reiki practitioner, he continued self-healing, started a blog to help others, and gradually educated himself on many healing modalities. Several months previous to the creation of We Are All Sacred Being, Arien developed a passion for scents and aromatherapy. Self-educated and intuitive, he started developing mixes to help himself during times of stress and pain. Realizing that he was working with people struggling with mental illness and physical pain on his older blog, he decided to begin to share some of his healing mixtures with others. The plan is to continue creating new healing blends for a variety of the struggles we all face in our human lives, as well as ways of healing our sublte energy body, where most illness and pain also manifests.

As someone living below the poverty line and a full time college student, Arien is unable to fund the beginning costs of a business out of pocket. Running a website (from creation to domain to internet commerce) costs over $200, shipping preparations, essential oil purchases, bottles, labels, and the time it takes to design all packages, are expensive. Arien also hopes to start giving Reiki session in person in Baltimore, but renting a studio space for this is not without cost to start. From the initial start up, Arien hopes the business will fund itself. Any unused money from this campaign will go towards a fund helping those who cannot afford, but need, products.

Any help is greatly appreciated, since the help will quickly be turned towards everyone's healing. The foundation of this business is that everyone involved will be empowered to heal themselves, through both a blog on spiritual education and corresponding products.
