George Reid Memorial Fund

On July 31, 2015, I got the terrible news that my good friend, George Reid had passed away from a sudden heart attack.

George and I have worked together for the past three years at the University of Southern California.  In that time, we have grown to become good friends outside of the office.

An expample of this friendship was this past March.  I took the day off to compete in the Pan American Jiu Jitsu Championships at UC Irvine.  He had texted me words of encouragement, but it wasn't until after my match, that I get text from him, saying I was brave to have competed, and he attached a picture of my match.  

Knowing he took time from his busy schedule to come down and watch was amazing and it showed how much he cared for people.  It is just one example of how great a man he is.

George leaves behind his wife Karla and two boys, Devin and Quinn.   This memorial fund page is for the family, most importantly for Devin and Quinn.  I want to raise funds for them to show them how much we appreciated thier father and his generosity towards all.

Any amount you give is worthy and will be greatly appreciated by the family.  They do not know about this, and I would like to keep it as a surprise, if at all possible.
