Carrie and Richard have laid their precious Honey-Bun to rest. What a beautiful tribute to a young lady who obviously touched so many hearts.
Once again they are overwhelmed with gratitude and thanksgiving from their wonderful Family, Friends, colleagues, and the community.
In reading through the emotional words of some of her friends and family members one cannot help but feel the warmth and friendship that Gaby generously provided to so many. She was clearly a special person who had a sincere interest in people.
It has helped the family through a difficult time, knowing They have such good friends. Knowing you are all there for them in times of need is such a comfort.
I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to have Gaby a part of my life and my family's.
Now that the hospital stay and funeral arrangements are over with I will be doing less updates and have the Montoya's take over. Please feel free and message through the "The Honey-Bun Fund" to get in contact with Richard and Carrie.
Thank you for sharing this site and for all of the prayers and donations.
Many blessings to all of you!!

On behalf of all of our family I want to give the most sincerest thank you for the support that has been shown to us and Gabriella weather it has been monetary, prayers, concern, text's,phone calls or visits. We would not be able to be the strong pillars we are in this tragic time without all of you. Carrie& Richard Montoya
It is with regret that I announce the death of our beloved Gaby.
We truly believed we would have been bringing Honey-Bun home. God had other plans, he needed her more than we did. I don't blame him, she is one of a kind.
I am pleased to share that she is an organ donor. We find great comfort in knowing that her beautiful heart will continue to beat and fill others with the same joy.
The Montoya's are so thankful and are at peace of all the thoughts and prayers each and everyone of you bestowed to their daughter Gaby.
Your sympathy testimony can be through a donation in the "Honey-Bun" fund. As we all know funeral cost can be expensive and any donations to help relieve this burden on the family would be greatly appreciated.
"How many times do I have to tell you ... Even when your crying and your beautiful too.... Your my downfall ...your my muse ... My worst distraction my rhythm and blues."
Thank you so so so much from the bottom of our hearts for all of your love and support for my family. Please keep your constant prayers, text messages, phone calls and comments for Beautiful Gabby coming. Gabby is a fighter, she's strong and she will get through this. She is loved by so many people and has an amazing heart and soul. Our family truly appreciates all of you. I cannot say it enough. THANK YOU.
Gabriela Montoya, aka. "Honey-Bun", age 17, and a Junior at Lehman High School in Kyle, TX, was involved in a car accident on her way home from Fiesta Texas San Antonio over the weekend. She sustained a severe brain injury, and other injuries and is in critical condition in ICU at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio. Gabby is involved in so many sport activities, modeling, preparing for prom, graduation next year, and just living the life of a 17 year old young lady! Gabby has so much to live for and we need powerful prayers for her recovery and for her family! Carrie and Richard immediately rushed to be by her side. As any parent would under these circumstances, they left with what they had on hand to be with their child. I am pleading to as many possible, to please contribute monetary donations to help this family with traveling expenses, meals, medical expenses to be expected and with any other support they need. I will share more information about Gabby's condition as it is available. Thank you all for your love, prayers, and support!! Family and friends greatly appreciate it!
