General George and I are currently looking for sponsors for our upcoming Extreme Mustang Makeover competition held May 16th - 17th in Norco, CA. There are a lot of expenses that go into preparing a BLM mustang for an Extreme Mustang Makeover and we are asking for a little help in making sure we are as prepared as we can be. I have scheduled for General George and I to compete at the Western States Stock Horse Show in Albany, OR on April 3-6th as our first major outing. He will then spend a couple of days at Perrydale Trails practicing on their beautiful trail courses. On April 24th-27th we will be in Eugene at the Oregon Horse Center for their Spring Mountain Trail Clinic and practice show. We also have other smaller events planned to make sure that he is mentally ready to perform at his best down in Norco. I would be forever grateful for any sponsorships we might receive to help us on our journey. I have created several different levels of sponorship so that you could choose the amount that suits you or kyour business best.
Level One: $50.00 sponsorship. In return I will post a thank you with a link to your website or facebook page on my Riggs Training page and website. I will place your name or business name on a banner that will travel to the shows with us and permanently hang in my arena.
Level Two: $250 sponsorship. In return I will post a thank you with a link to your website or facebook page on both my Riggs Training page and website. I will place your name or business name on a banner that will travel to the shows with us and permanently hang in my arena . Your logo or business name will be embroidered on my western shirts that I will be wearing at my clinics, events, and shows we will be attending.
Level Three: $500 or more sponsorship. You will get all of the above benefits and the following. I will be keeping a collection of photographs of our journey and will be making a photo book of our journey that all major sponsors will receive as a thank you for making it possible. I will also take your business brochures, flyers, or business cards to these events and place them on our table in front of our stalls. Level three sponsors will also be considered sponsors for our next Extreme Mustang Makeover on July 25th in Nampa, ID.
My original plan was to go ahead and let General George sell at the auction in Norco but after spending so much time with him I have realized that I have a once in a lifteme horse on my hands. I am going to try my best to be able to purchase him back from the auction and bring him home so that we can continue to grow and learn together. Thank you to everyone who has supported me on my wild and crazy mustang adventures, whether it was just a simple word of encouragement, traveling to an event with me, or a sponsorship I am forever grateful to all that have believed in me. I can honestly say there have been a few key people in my life that saw my potential in training and teaching long before I had the courage to step up and put in the public's eye and I owe a lot to them for giving me the courage and belief in myself to go for it.
