At just 29 weeks pregnant, Sharena, is at UCSF waiting for the arrival of her baby boy, Kade.
Sharena, her fiancé Jr, and their daughter Dakota were excited to be welcoming a new baby. Everything was going fine until 3 weeks ago. They went in for an ultrasound and were told there was something wrong with their little boy. After four long days of not knowing what was wrong they went to UCSF. Kade has IUGR. He is very small. Since then it seems like things have been piling on for them. An ultrasound on Monday found that he also had reversed blood flow and Sharena was admitted to the hospital. The reverse blood flow has since corrected itself but she has been diagnosed with preeclampsia and will be in the hospital until Kade is born.
Jr is at UCSF with her and their daughter will be staying with family while they are gone. Kade will be in the hospital for months after birth which means this young family will be spending a lot of time apart. Any money donated will help them with expenses while they are away, bills that still have to be paid at home, and travel costs.
