Buck's Half Marathon -For Mental Health

This page was set up in February 2016 to raise funds in memory of Lee. Funds raised go directly to our chosen charity Mind - for better mental health. Specifically the Redcar & Cleveland, branch meaning people within our community will be in benefit.
For anyone unaware of the situation Lee sadly ended his life in November 2014. Redcar and it's wider community was shocked and saddened beyond belief. It's difficult to word the severity of the situation and the loss that has been felt when loosing Lee in this very traumatic way. There simply isn't the right words.
In an attempt to remain positive and to help prevent other people going through the same thing, we raise funds and awareness for Redcar & Cleveland Mind.
This year Lisa (Lee's cousin) got in touch and kindly offered to support us. Buck Taylor is doing the Lisbon Half Marathon, he's kindly offered to get sponsors to add to our pot and here's what Buck has to say about why he's doing it.
"I will be the first to admit I don't understand depression but I know it not only affects people but also their families too. Recently my brother nearly lost his life to a horrific work accident and we lost Linda my mother in law, through depression. It didn't take her from us but it was a major factor. So this is 48th year of birth and I have decided to do my part and run Lisbon Half Marathon my first major run in over a decade. Please support me and this charity
