Hello, I’m Dr. Lisa Ferguson, and I’m reaching out to you to support Illuminutopia's Human Transformation Project. As founder and CEO of Illuminutopia, I set its goal and mine as “illuminating the way to utopia for individuals, organizations, and the rest of society" when forming the organization in 2008. We are not striving to make money, but rather to have the financial resources necessary to achieve our goal faster and more effectively. Illuminutopia is focused on utilizing best practices, such as the Theory of Constraints (TOC) to achieve its vision, mission, and goal. TOC was created by Dr. Eli Goldratt to achieve his goal of life of teaching the world to think.

Eliyahu M. Goldratt’s (1947 to 2011) goal led him to create a 'Unified Field Theory of Management,' a set of functional and holistic applications for organizations, the Thinking Processes, and a philosophy of life. TOC has touched the lives of millions of people and thousands of organizations worldwide in a very positive way.

Dr. Eli Goldratt was an educator, philosopher, business guru, and best-selling author of The Goal, a novel that is one of the top 100 business books of all time, has sold over 5 million copies (and been translated into 35 languages), and has been required reading in many business schools (since it was first published in 1984). According to Time Magazine, the novel is one of the 25 most influential business management books.

For a decade, I was a full-time professor of operations management before resigning to teach for Goldratt Group full-time training consultants (both TOC experts and Supply Chain Logistics implementers). Next, I spent a year (2007 – 2008) working as an apprentice to Dr. Eli Goldratt. During that time, I passed all his writing tests. I was honored to be able to work with him so closely.

The common-sense logic of TOC and the magnitude of results it brings makes it the perfect candidate for not only becoming the main way of managing organizations (or just in functional implementations), but also for enabling individuals to achieve more meaningful (full) lives. Reaching new audiences of people and organizations not aware of the value and power of TOC is important for illuminating the way to utopia worldwide.

Illuminutopia’s strategies and tactics are based on using TOC, combined with other best practices, to dramatically improve strategic planning and execution, retail, education, healthcare, and the health, happiness, and success of individuals with a holistic approach.

I am the author of the chapter on TOC Strategy and Tactic Trees in The Theory of Constraints Handbook published by McGraw Hill in 2010. That same year, I began teaching online classes for Illuminutopia. I am a published author, editor, and consultant with experience guiding Fortune 100 companies down through small businesses.

I have been passionate since I was a teenager about understanding and improving health. In my life, I have suffered through many significant traumas and health challenges. I discovered that Western medicine is limited, often not providing cures. As a result, I tried other healing approaches that worked for me. I learned about how to heal using horse therapy, energy healing, Chinese medicine (chakras, yoga, acupressure, acupuncture, and more), access consciousness, and more.

Saturday, September 6, 2025, was the start of Illuminutopia's Human Transformation Project. This project is designed to consist of a 90-day transformation of my life to complete my healing on all levels (mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual) and re-awaken to become my fully authentic self. I am aware that this is a very ambitious target. I am already making progress toward it.

I became 59 years young on September 13th of this year. At a 5'10" height, I currently weigh 172 pounds. For most of my life when I was very healthy, I weighed between 135 to 140 pounds. It is my desired ambitious target to achieve significant improvements by the time I arrive in Las Vegas on October 5th for our TOC Innovation Summit (the TOCICO four-day international conference), which will be 30 days after I began this project. I am following an all-natural holistic protocol.

The TOC Innovation Summit includes sessions focused on supporting rapid 90-day turnarounds for organizations. We know from experience that this is definitely possible when successfully applying TOC. So, it makes sense that I could do the same with my life as well.

I have decided it is time for me to reach out to the public in a major way to achieve my goal in life. It is my hope that sharing my story will provide inspiration and guidance to others about how to progress on their own individual healing and re-awakening journeys. I will also continue writing my book, Re-Awakening, which will also fulfill this purpose. Illuminutopia will publish it as soon as I can finish writing it.
