Appendectomy Hospital Bill

The appendix is great, huh? All it does is get you a $53,000 hospital bill. Luckily I was still covered by my step-mom's insurance, so my bill (technically two bills, but I'm counting it as one) is only $1,850ish. That's still a lot though. I work full time, but it's only minimum wage. I have a payment plan set up to be $180 a month for the next 10 months, but after all my other bills that don't change from month to month, that doesn't leave me with much for food and other expenses such as gas, or anything else that may come up.

I'm not expecting much, but any little bit would be greatly appreciated. I will be adding payments from my own pocket towards the bill as offline donations, simply because as much as I would love the extra money, I don't want more than I need.
