My Mission Trip to South Africa!

Hello family and friends!  This summer I have been blessed with the opportunity to work at an orphanage through Tabitha Ministries in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa with four of my good friends.  They have an orphanage there that houses children who have become orphaned, the majority of them due to their parents having HIV/AIDS.  Many of these children themselves are HIV/AIDS positive.  Our mission while we are there is to provide the ministry support in any way possible, but our main purpose is to love on those kids and show them Jesus right up until we can tuck them in at night.  I am also excited to use my major of Therapeutic Recreation while I am there and implement what I have learned. 

My personal goal is to be a positive influence on these kids through sharing the gospel and use this trip to help fulfill the Great Commission.  In order to get there I need to raise $3,200 dollars for airfare, my stay, food, and other general expenses.  Please consider joining my support team either monetarily, through prayer, or both.  The most important gift I could receive is prayer.  Thank you for reading and your support!
