Hi, my name is Nicole, I have Chronic Neurological Lyme disease and Babesia, they are both Tick-Borne diseases. I was misdiagnosed with having MS for almost 5 years which in turn made me sicker and has made the Lyme harder to treat. One of my doctors and I believe I have actually had this since I was 14 when I was told it was mono but was sick bed bound for 3 months, which means I have actually had this for 18 years without treatment for at least 14 of those years. I currently have a picc line in as the picture shows, and have 2 medicines I have to run through that and 15 other medicines I am to take daily. I am going to have a different treatment done soon called Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy that will help me tremendously but is not covered by my insurance. Its cost is expensive and I am unable to work at this point which is why I have created this page. I do not have income at this point because I was denied long term disability thru my employers insurance because they said Chronic Lyme Disease is a controversial disease.
I do not like to ask for help I am very independant but I am at a point in my life I need as much help from my family and friends as possible. My children and I greatly appreciate any donation that is received, no amount is too small. This is going to be an ongoing expense as there is no cure for Lyme disease, and I also have to have my children checked continuously as they could have gotten this in utero. I want to thank everybody in advance for any and all donations.
