South Africa Mission Trip

Hi friends and family! I have been blessed with the opportunity to travel to Pietermaritzburg, South Africa, with 4 close friends to work and stay at an orphanage there! The organization I am going with, Tabitha Ministries, focuses on showing the children love and care in the orphanage while also telling them about Jesus. Over half of the population in this area of South Africa has either HIV or AIDS, and it is not uncommon for the children to have lost parents to AIDS or be HIV positive themselves. Not only will I get to spread the Gospel to the people and children of the community, but I will also get to use my major, Therapeutic Recreation, while I am there. 

I have to raise $3200 in order to pay for my plane ticket, stay, food, and general living expenses while I am in Pietermaritzburg for 30 days. I leave on May 17th and return on June 15th! This is such an amazing blessing and opportunity, and I would like to ask you to prayerfully consider joining my support team-- even if it means just praying with me and the team for the Lord to use our time there for His Glory!
