Emergency Fund for Jamaican Kids
Donation protected
Hello Friends,
We are seeking donations to help give back to three basic schools in Jamaica. On our recent visit to Jamaica, we discovered that many children in our communities have literacy levels way below the national standard. It hurts our heart to know that it cost so little to get them on the right track, yet most cannot afford to. Many children I discovered have dreams and aspirations to become something positive in life. However, financially the majority of them cannot afford to continue education past high school due to lack of employment or negative influences that have become the norm of their society. It's good to have a dream but when you don't have a driving force to make the dream become a reality, it fades away. We planned to start our fundraising for children ages 3 to 6, and work our way up within the next few years. Money donated, will help buy school supplies for over 200 children, and shipping fees. Thanks for your donation.
Update: Two of the three schools are unfinished. Leaky roof! and unsatifactory play area. Help us, Help our community
