This donation page is dedicated to Katherine Hutchison, who is facing the challenge of a rare cancer treatment.
These funds are to help her ease the burden during this difficult time when she is unable to work. She has dedicated her life to being a mother, veteran, nurse and giving to many patients who have faced health adversity.
She is a student at Georgetown University in the Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program, which she hopes to return to after treatments. Her fellow Hoya study group called "Effin Pees" (slang for FNP) have been inspired by her strength and some of them will be completing a marathon (26.2 miles) or a half-marathon (13.1 miles) in her honor and to raise awareness for cancer.
