Who We Are
We are the Communication Design class of 2016, studying at Gray's School of Art in Aberdeen, Scotland. We are currently working through our final year of studies in preparation for our degree show in June of next year.
After this degree show is done, however, we are given the chance to present our final year's work at D&AD's New Blood Festival; a national event where graduates from all over the UK to show their work to top industry leaders in the hopes of impressing them and bagging some jobs and selling some work.
To do this, we need money.
What the Money Will Be Used For
To buy our stands at the festival, we need to raise £6,000 (three stands at £2,000 each). That's it! That's all the money will be used for. If we raise more than that £6,000, we would leave this money for aside for the class of 2017 at THEIR New Blood show!
Deadline
We need to pay half the amount by January 31st, and then a further £3000 by the start of April.
Our Reason
The job market for new graduates is ruthless. Being able to exhibit our work in such a setting would not only be an amazing way to finish off our four years of studying, but would also be a huge oppurtunity to bag jobs soon after our graduation! Previous students in previous years have been wildly succesful in getting creative jobs in London and other major cities.
