My first trip to Mexico was in 1994...I went as an adult leader (and did audio for them). Loved the experience and fell in love with the people. Returned with them the next year. Then went another two times on my own, followed by another as a newlywed.
And now, full circle. I'd recently written about the recent stirrings toward missions and the new website I'll be launching in the near future. And as a part of that, I'm gathering information on ministries that offer or desire whole-family missions.
This week met with the first, YWAM San Diego/Baja. As it turns out, my first trip will be not only getting information about their work and needs, but helping with some infrastructure needs.
So started in Baja, and returning to Baja some time this spring (still working out the details).
