Fund for the Children of Chris Witte

Donation protected

On 1/27/14, Christine "Chris" Witte was tragically killed in a hit-and-run out front of her home in Lower Bucks County. Chris was the loving mother to three wonderful children, Kristen Witte Rhodes(30), Ryan (26) and Taylor (19). This is a devastating loss for a family that was still grieving the loss of their father, Chris's husband Ron Witte, who also suddenly passed away in 2009.

Chris was a resident of Perkasie for the past 26 years. She was a graduate of Council Rock High School, Class of 1980. For over 20 years, she was a loyal employee as a cashier at Giant Food Store in Perkasie. Chris was a dance instructor at Elite Dance Academy in Richboro. She was an avid walker who enjoyed her daily exercise. She was a member of the "Flamingals," a group of ladies who loved to travel together, socialize on a regular basis and play board games.

Chris loved dancing, visiting Disney World with her children, and she cherished any time spent with family and friends.
She could always be found with a gentle smile on her face and offered up kind and encouraging words. Chris is lovingly remembered by all as a caring wife, mother, and friend.

Kristen (PHS Class of 2002) is married to Ryan Rhodes and has two beautiful boys, Ryder (5) and Jackson (2). Ryan Witte (PHS Class of 2006) resides in New Britain, PA with his girlfriend Erin. Taylor is a recent graduate of Pennridge High School and is in her second semester of freshman year at Kutztown University.

During any time of crisis and for the years following it is very easy to get overwhelmed with the financial burden created by such a loss. For a family that has suffered through so much heartache already, their friends and family wanted to create a way to help lighten this load. Please share with friends and remember that any amount of money contributed will help.

"How lucky am I to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard."
