Dear Ones,
Due to severe illness last Fall & Winter I decided to upgrade to a new heating system (gas furnace). Last year in order to be warm I was either having to build a fire (a monumental effort at the time) or huddle under an electric blanket (ugh!).
The roof is 3 years overdue for replacement, so it I feel it's pretty critical that a new one not be prolonged any longer.
This is probably the last giant investment of my life! I consider these improvements to be an investment in my future.

P.S. The first $1,150 was donated in January 2014 for some of my husband, Paul's, medical expenses after his passing.
