Aaron Carson's Memorial Fund

As I sit to write to you, I cannot believe I have to do this. My name is Amy and I am asking for support for the family of Aaron Carson, age 26 of Sault Ste. Marie, ON.  My brother was doing what he loved the most, ice fishing, with our other brother Chris and friends when he unexpectedly collapsed and tragically passed away on January 18, 2014. As we cope with his sudden departure, we focus on the family he loved so much. He leaves behind his best friend of 8 years, Katrina and their beautiful 2 year old son, the light of his life, Eric. Aaron was my baby brother, I'd like to tell you about him, if you don't already know. He was the youngest of three, Chris is the brother between us.  Aaron was an avid outdoors man, loving nature and everything to do with it. He proudly graduated from Sault College in 2009 in the electrical trades program and was working as an electrical apprentice trying to get his certification. He had been in the process of buying a house and had gotten confirmation on his mortgage application the day before passing away. He was so proud of his family and was working so hard to provide for them. I remember the phone call of him calling to tell me about his mortgage approval, I wished we talked longer... We are asking for support to get Katrina through these next few months, allowing her to focus on their son and getting herself back on her feet. Katrina is now faced with paying the rent, power, daycare and all other necessary expenses and while preparing for a funeral all on her own. We are trying to do everything we can to help her through this and appreciate any support we get. Thank you so very much for taking the time to read my brother's story. Missing you already baby brother but happy to know Dad was there to welcome you home with him :(
