Help D. get hot water again!

My friend D. is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. She's funny and gracious and smart as a whip. And despite being disabled and in pain almost constantly, she rarely ever complains.

Recently, her hot water heater died and is beyond repair. The cost of new water heater, plus installation, plus some changes that need to be made to bring everything up to current code, is going to cost about $1200. This is money that D. can't really afford on her fixed income. Please help me help her pay for this.
