Sadly, Leslie lost her battle Monday morning, February 10th.
Below is a post from her husband, Chris Creekmore:
"She's gone now, and the universe itself is lesser for the loss. I sincerely and wholeheartedly want to thank every one of you for caring and especially for supporting my mission to get people to vaccinate so fewer lives might be cut short. It's of absolutely zero comfort presently, just like any and every other thing is of no comfort, but I hope to eventually find a measure of peace in my absolute, unequivocal certainty that if Leslie had been given the choice to trade her life for the chance it might motivate even a few other people to take precautions and survive where they otherwise may not have, I couldn't have convinced her to even consider saying no. Leslie was and still is responsible for everything good in me, and when the day comes that we cross paths again, I wouldn't dare tell her I backslid into rage and indifference in her absence. So she's still got a very large role to play for a very long time - she's in charge of giving me a morality-fueled nudge when I need it, and she's still going do continue to be the standard against which I will measure what it means to be a good and kind person. I hope some of you will be able to carry that same legacy, too, and I know for certain that whatever comes next will undoubtedly be influenced and shaped by the changes she made in who each of us are and who we hope to become.
I loved her with every iota of my being and beyond, and I have no intention of that changing just because she isn't here with me corporeally."
The service was held today at First Christian in Fort Smith Arkansas.
This family continues to need your prayers and your support. The donations have been amazing and are sincerely appreciated.
I would also like to point out that Chris is not editing this page, I created the page to assist with his fundraising efforts and turned the account over to him so he could begin using the money generated. He verified the page with his Facebook, so that's why all messages appear to be coming from him.
Remember, get your damn flu shot.

Sad news to report...
Jamie Creekmore (Leslie and Chris' sister):
"Leslie is still holding her own, but we have some sad news to report. She lost the baby today. It's not due to her getting worse or anything in particular happening. Her body just spontaneously delivered the baby. We have to look at this as God's work. The human body is an amazing thing. It can tell when something needs to happen. The baby was using a lot of Leslie's resources. This may be her body's way of saying it needs to be able to fight harder to keep her alive. The baby could not live without Leslie at this point, but Leslie has a chance to live without the baby. We are all devastated by this loss, but we still have Leslie and she is fighting for her life. She deserves to live. This fight is not over."
We are so thankful for the amazing people that have donated so far.
Please keep this family close to your heart and in your prayers.
They need them.

Leslie Creekmore was admittted to Mercy Hosptial in Ft. Smith on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014 with complaints of being short of breath. She was transferred to ICU that night and put on full, pressurized oxygen the next day. On Monday, Jan. 13, she was put on a ventilator due to complications from severe double pnuemonia which is most likely a secondary infection from H1N1. She is 20 weeks pregnant and is fighting for her life and the life of her baby.
Leslie was moved via an emergency flight to St. Louis, MO. on Jan 14th. She is in stable, but critical condition while her excellent team of doctors monitor her health. She is currently receiving an experimental drug to fight off the H1N1 and allow her body to recover. Although she is not conscious, which allows the ventilator to better breath for her, she is surrounded by her husband Chris and their amazing family who continue to support her emotionally while the team in St. Louis treats her physically.
Leslie and her baby are fighting for their lives right now and need your help.
Treatment for Leslie is going to be incredibly expensive.
We are asking for donations to help ease the financial burden this unfortunate and unexpected illness has caused.
Thank you for your concern and care for such an amazing young woman and please, continue to pray for Leslie and her unborn child's swift recovery.

We are currently going through the same thing with my Mother in Law. I didn't hear mentioned anything about pursuing ECMO-VV, If you are not familiar with this please research it. Barnes Jewish in St Louis can perform that procedure. Its basically a artificial lung which will breath for you when your lungs can not. It is very risky procedure but may save her life.
