Help me sail across the Atlantic!

Ever since I was 10 years old I've dreamed of sailing around the world, and I've gotten close to leaving a couple of times, but I'm still stuck here. I have been sailing for about 9-10 years now, after a while I got tired of borrowing boats, so I bought a fixer upper boat and lived on it for a summer, planning to sail across the Atlantic to re-visit England where I spent two years doing missionary service for my church. I ended up selling that boat to pay for school, but the vision of sailing has never been far from my mind.
I have another sailboat now, even more suited to long distance cruising. She's no beauty queen, but she can take a beating. What I need help with is the funds so I can take a strategically timed break from my job and acquire the supplies and safety equipment I need to spend a month or two at sea.
These funds will not only help me get the things I need, but also enable me to put together a short film about the journey.
Every little bit helps. If I were to just get $10 from everyone I'm friends with on Facebook, this could really happen; I would be forever grateful and definitely give you the grandest of shout outs along my voyage.
This is one of those things that I am so passionate about that I can't stop until I complete it. I don't want this dream to just be a dream, or fade and go unaccomplished as life gets in the way.

Check out my blog. I kept track of what I did with my last boat, and now I'm finally starting to keep track of what's going on with the new boat. I'll be sure to post more as I get more equipment, and as the voyage begins.
