Mikey's Dental Surgery

Donation protected
This is Mikey. My husband brought him in to our home on December 23rd when it was only 4 degrees Fahrenheit outside, and he stole our hearts. He doesn't have a microchip and we've been unable to find owners, so we are keeping him. I took him to the vet not long after we got him and found out that he had fleas and roundworm, though he thankfully was FIV free. He also got a rabies vaccine and I'm hoping to get him microchipped soon.

Unfortunately, while the initial vet visit was costly enough, he needs to have his teeth cleaned under sedation and possibly will need to have a tooth extracted. Having recently undergone a root canal myself, I don't want him to have to continue in pain any longer than is necessary. We just don't have $600 on hand, especially since we paid for my root canal out of pocket and just got done with the holidays. My Get Out Of There Cat followers have always been so generous to other readers, and I hope I can count on some of that generosity now.

In the event that we raise the full amount but he does not need a tooth extraction and the bill is less than $600, I will use the extra money first to microchip him and then donate the rest to the Humane Society of Indianapolis which has provided us with so many wonderful animals.
