Hi, thank you for being interested in what this lawsuit is about. Noah was 13 hours old when he was taken from the hospital and placed with adoptive parents. This adoption was illegal and fraudulent which is why this case is in Federal Court: Amy Elise Eckardt vs United States Department of Health and Human Services. et al. Case Number 13-1592.
Noah's mother spent every dime she had on lawyers that did not do their job. The court case was illegal because of the money the court system received from the Federal Government called Title IV-E funds. Noah does not see his mother and his family wants him to have familial ties with his mother and to have the necessary medical care provided once he becomes an adult. Noah suffers from debilitating asthma and food allergies (he carries an Epi-pen) taking medication only prescribed to an adult. Noah is 10 years old now and his family wants this case to come to an end. Noah's mother has found a competent lawyer to take the case; however, the lawyer needs to be reimbursed for travel expenses seeing that the lawyer is almost 3 hours and many miles away from the courthouse.
Noah's brother, Zachary, is on the WISH LIST because he was homeless for a portion of 2013 and managed to stay in school. People called DCFS to help Zachary but because of the current situation DCFS refused Zachary help. Zachary has filed his own lawsuit.
