Paula wanted to express her gratitude and share her words with you;

This simple Thank you seems so inadequate to express my gratitude for your generosity. I am humbled. The life changing event of 10-12-11 is the harsh truth that life is precious, should be acknowledged every day, and lived with passion.

Through your gracious acts, I am reminded that I am not walking a solitary road and am surrounded by kindness.

With Appreciation;
Paula Caouette

Today is Super Bowl Sunday, and reminds me of what Dave Caouette gave up to fight for our Country. "Dave was an All State athlete from his freshman year to senior in High School, scouted by the New York Jets and offered full scholarships to many colleges; but it was the war in Vietnam and he listed in the Navy." stated Paula Caouette. What an amazing man to put his country first!!!!!

Dave Caouette was a victim during the Seal Beach Salon Meritage shooting spree. Dave was the last victim shot while sitting in his Land Rover outside of the Salon. He was a Vietnam Vet and served his Country for three tours. As a result of Dave's murder, his wife Paula Caouette is losing their home of over 20 years. Dave and Paula were married for over 40 years, however their life together began at the young age of 12 years old. Paula is a beautiful and extremely selfless person, whom does not deserve this tragic chain of events. Our goal is to help Paula and save her house.
