Help Give a Child the Basics!
Brooklynn and Emma Kerns are two 7 year olds on a mission!
People often donate shirts, pants, and shoes, but forget about the need for socks and underwear. Many children in our community are in need of these items! So, we are having a children's sock and underwear drive to raise awareness and give back to our community.
If you would like to help, you can donate on this page and the girls will use the money towards purchasing new socks and underwear to donate to The Clothes Cabin (please read more about them below!). Or, we will also pick up items from you March 8th-9th if you are within 15 miles of Alma School and Ray in Chandler, AZ.
Please consider donating to the girls cause! Teaching children early about community service, compassion, and appreciation for all the good things is very important and I would love to see them succeed along with helping children in our community!
About : The Clothes Cabin, operated by One Small Step, Inc., provides free clothing, shoes, and household linens to low/no income individuals and families. The Clothes Cabin alsoprovides steel-toed work boots to men who require them for employment and a laundryservice for our homeless clients. There is no other local resource for these free services. In 2012, we served more than 1,600 families. The Clothes Cabin thanks you sincerely for your generous support.
