Help save the life of a baby

Donation protected
In addition to having their home severely damaged and unlivable from the recent tornado, Amy and Ross Mulder have had a heart for adoption and have just had a door open to adopt a baby who needs a home.

For those of you who don't know, here is a little of their story. They have been married almost five years and have been trying for a family since then. Despite numerous doctors' attempts at intervention, they were unable to get pregnant. Amy is adopted and adoption has always been important to her so about two years ago they decided to adopt from Russia. After lots of money spent, almost a year of paperwork and waiting, they were next on the list to get names of children when Putin banned Russian adoptions to the US and they lost their children. They felt led to give the funds they had raised at the time to help orphans in Poland and donated the rest of their adoption money.

This year they have again had the thought of adoption on their minds, but no plans when a mutual friend contacted them and said she knew a mother who planned to abort her child, but if she could find a couple who wanted the baby, the mother would instead let the child live and give it away (she refuses to work with an agency). They were very excited at this opportunity for a private adoption, but discouraged when they discovered that because the mother lives out of state the cost of the adoption will be $12,000-$15,000.

Even when they were dating one of the most important things to them was helping unwanted children and orphans. Let's help them realize their dream of helping an unwanted child and having a family as well as giving the mother a reason to let this child live. Please share a gift of any amount to help them make this family connection a reality.
