A permanent home for The Magic Horse

The Magic Horse Therapeutic Riding Center needs a permanent home and your help to purchase our own property. Our mission is to make a life-enhancing difference for people with disabilities, and their families, through the magic and power of the horse. Property is very expensive in San Diego County and coming up with the down payment is impossible without your financial contribution. Please give whatever amount you can!
Our riders are children and young people with disabilities like Down's Syndrome, Autism, Cerebral Palsy, ADD; and they all have abilities like love, curiosity, a desire to succeed, humor, and play. They learn how to groom, tack (put the saddle and other equipment on the horse), lead, and ride just like anyone would. Sometimes it takes a year or two to gain enough finger strength and coordination to manage the buckles and clips on their own, but they do it!
Parents, siblings, and volunteers have a great time helping, too!
We have found a beautiful property which would provide The Magic Horse room to grow and develop providing more opportunities to more riders and volunteers. However, time is of the essence! The property will be listed on the market in January so time is short to raise enough money for the down payment. With your help we can do it!
It's time to move onward and upward!!
