Go - Gymnastics National Cup 2014 Quebec
Donation protected
Two local Okanagan British Columbia gymnasts need help getting to a National Competition in Montreal, Quebec.
These athletes - only 10 years old - have made TeamBC and have qualified to the National Stream Cup in Montreal, January 17-19, 2014. Lucia Jakab and Gabriela Beselt train up to 24 hours a week in Artistic Gymnastics at the Okanagan Gymnastics Centre. They work hard and train with dedication in the Canada Pre-Novice Elite division.
This is the opportunity of a lifetime and it's right around the corner.
The girls will represent TeamBC while in Montreal, not their local club. While the girls do receive support from both their club and Gymnastics BC, the expenses far exceed the available funding for this opportunity.
The girls are responsible for not only getting themselves to Montreal, but also for the coach and his travel and expenses, their uniform, and chaperone.
Can you help these athletes experience a national event that could guide their future and dream of representing Canada?
Your support and generosity is deeply appreciated and the athletes are grateful for enabling their opportunity to compete at this National competition. They will make you proud.
