Christian Van Allen was one of the first Big Sur, CA
residents to lose his home and nearly his life in the Pfeiffer Ridge Fire that is still being battled.

Despite losing his own home, he was working side by side with other residents and his former wife to help her save homes.

He fled from the home with only a few items in his truck. Then someone broke into his truck and stole the rest of his only belongings. How horrible is that?

We can't just sit here reading the headlines, can you? ...We simply must help and are asking that you do too. It's Christmas and such a horrible time to have lost everything.

Show Christian that you care about him, even if you've never met. He's one of the most humorous people we know and should be a big time writer for the Onion or the Huff Post. He would write this letter way better than us.
