September updates: Hello everyone. Lily has just turned 17, and is in her senior year of High School. Although we have sold a lot of chocolate, we are less than halfway to our goal. UPDATES> Hello Friends, Lily has the opportunity to travel overseas for a class trip. In addition to her soccer goals fundraising, we are now in addition raising funds for her to go to Europe. I have invested in World's Finest Chocolate, to help us achieve these goals. You can donate whatever you wish and I will send you some chocolate bars as a thank you. Any amount is appreciated. Please leave any messages with instructions on sending your gift to you. Her trip cost alone with chaperone is close to $5,000 and her soccer goals expenses will exceed that. UPDATES We have qualified again for Nationals for Florida in December 2014 We need help with airfare and car rental and hotel fees to make our trip possible. If anyone has access to airline points and would be able to donate those to us that would be another great option. We need to BOOK NOW to reserve a flight for December 2014. Intially this fundraiser is for Our Daughter Lily to have opportunity to play Soccer in Europe for August 2014- which is now postponed to 2015. With all these events we are trying to constanlty keep up with her expenses and our new fundraiser for out pet pug that needs surgery -she is blind, we recenlty spent a lot of money on medicines to help her, so we are trying our best to afford everything and its not enought. In addition to unforseen expenses and home repair, food allergy expenses, medical expenses, our budgets for her dreams are not sufficient. As I do not have a rewards level I do sell items online and if there is something you like on my sites and would like the item for your comparable donation amount just let me now and I will give you an item comparable to that value. I have many items to choose from you can find them at www.dandeepop.com there are also beauty items I have for sale and spa items again willing to give you product for donation and I would even ship too. There is anything from toys to arcade machines to a boat and I even have a car that I would like to sell. Also if you are interested in donating items that I can sell for profit toward these goals is another option. Maybe someone has gift cards for airlines etc. We are not picky just hoping for help in any way possible. Email me at the email provided for any other questions This intial fundraiser for Europe is called the "Passport to Play" with her team The Long Island Rough Riders. This is still in the works too. Our dilemma is that the travel expenses exceed what we can afford. We are aiming to raise 15,000. The parent would also incur $2,945 for the trip, for 9 days in Europe. If we have the opportunity to go as a family, that is where the price would accumulate to 11,780 just to go with soccer passport to play. This includes the Airfare and Hotel Accommodations. This is estimated cost, we would still need to consider food and other travel expenses, insurance, taxes, and pet care when we are away. We are asking generous people to help us out with this once in a lifetime opportunity. We also all have Gluten intolerance, so our expenses for specialty food have also dented our bank accounts. We cannot afford for Lily to go, or much less any additional family members for this trip, so we are asking for your help. The information on this trip in a nutshell includes the hotel accommodations, motor coach travel, tours, training, and 3 soccer team matches, and 2 meals for us in Europe. Lily would have the opportunity, beginning in Nuremberg and ending in Venice in the Summer of 2015 We need to raise money right away to afford down payments and commitments to this opportunity. I added a wish list of just Lily plus one parent even though our goals are for more, this wish list is the minimum we need to at least send her and a parent. Thank you all for your continued support please help share this wherever you can. ♥ NEW NEWS - Sad to say not enough of the team was able to go on this trip, so it is not going to happen this year. With this said, we could still use this and additional funding for ongoing travels and training. Soccer is expensive, so every bit helps so please if anyone can continue to donate to us for the training and out of state travels and potential Nationals again this year please keep your generosity coming in. Lily and her brother Daniel are both in competitive soccer programs, multiple tournaments, upcoming competition for Delco. This involves hotel stays, and definite air fare, and it would be a big help if you could all support us no matter the donation amount. Please help spread the word and thank you all thus far. ♥
