Caitlin's Fund

This fundraiser is to assist Caitlin and her family with medical bills and traveling expenses. Since she was born Caitlin's had a host of medical issues, mostly caused by Cystic Fibrosis and a b-cell immune deficiency. Her lungs are doing well, but her pancreas is another story. Since the age of fifteen she's had six pancreatic stent procedures, a whipple, puestow, and a partial pancreatectomy. Caitlin is currently living in Georgia with her fiancé and their adopted son. She was doing well until just over a year ago when she was admitted again with chronic pancreatitis. She had surgery last month to have a j-tube inserted because she's unable to eat. After surgery she developed a seroma due to the scar tissue from previous surgeries. She's currently undergoing treatment for a secondary infection at the site of the seroma. As you can imagine, even though she has health insurance the co-payments and traveling expenses are adding up quickly. Battling an illness is stressful enough without worrying about the rapidly increasing influx of bills. Thank you in advance for your help, every donation is appreciated more than words can describe.
