I just want to thank all those that have donated to this site, supported the fund raisers...and kept Jaxon on your prayer list. The family is leaving this Friday for Jacksonville, FL for a duration of 8 weeks while Jaxon receives radiation treatments at the University of Florida Proton Therapy Institute. Please keep this family in your prayers.
Facebook friends, family....and complete strangers we want to sincerely thank you for all the support and prayers for our precious Jaxon. This family will be eternally grateful for your kindness. Come on out on February 22nd at Appling Field for this benefit tournament. https://www.facebook.com/events/1410882322491820/?source=1
Friends we really need your prayers and support for our precious Jaxon. After he completes his next round of Chemo in February, he will be heading to Jacksonville, Fl for 8 weeks of radiation treatment. This is the treatment that St. Jude suggests and we have faith in his doctors and his entire team there. Expenses keep adding up and now the added expense of the travels to Florida and back....well it can be overwhelming at times. We appreciate all your kindness, prayers and support.
Update on Jax: two of his important "cell counts" today were near zero and absolute zero. Nothing alarming, as this is supposed to happen with aggressive chemo. However, this means isolation until further notice and mama has to keep clean counters, empty trash, nothin in the sink ... Anything that could collect & spread germs and/or bacteria. And I am BEGGING EVERYONE: please get a flu shot. The CDC has already made a public statement that the H1N1 strain is very aggressive this year. This includes those who are around the elderly, infants or young children, or someone who has an at-risk immune system. The shots DO NOT contain penicillin or aspirin, and are safe for those with egg allergies as well. Protect yourself, and others! Have a great night
No amount is too small. We appreciate all donations. Also wanted to let you know that there will be a fund raiser Saturday, December 21st to raise money for this family at the VFW Post 4935 at 1942 Lynnbrook Place. Lots of great prizes to be raffled off. Come on down folks.
Thanks again for all the donations!! Jaxon got to come home from the hospital today, but will still be making daily visits to St. Jude before he checks back in for his next round of chemo. Keep those prayers coming....we believe in miracles.
Thanks so much for those that have already donated. Jaxon is doing good. His temperature is down but his counts remain low so he just had another blood transfusion , but he may get to come home tomorrow.
Let's help Justin and Jessica Johnson raise funds for the added expenses incurred in treating Jaxon (Superman) Johnson's cancer. He is 18 months old and he is currently being treated for a rare tumor at St. Jude. Praise God there are no charges for treatment at St. Jude, however, Mommy and Daddy have had to take off work to be with this precious baby during his treatments and stays at the hospital, not to mention all the travel expenses of going back and forth...and we all know the regular bills keep coming. He has completed his second round of chemo and is now back in the hospital because his counts got so low and he was running a temperature. Any help you can give to this family will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
