Bionic Arm for Irma's New Start
Donation protected
Today I am sitting with an amazing, beautiful, courageous young woman who managed to give a kick back and started fighting for a new life and an "old" future after the accident in Kenya in which she lost her right arm. Until this day Irma had 19 surgeries on her face and arm. In order to get her old appearance she will still need to go through a number of surgeries on her face, with the ultimate goal of getting a bionic arm. We are still missing $ 70,000. Not a single day in the past 2 years and 3 months has passes that I didn't think about Irma, her courage, ability to continue life, pass all her exams, become a Master of science, continue her AIESEC experience while working with younger members, and stay such a positive and amazing young woman. I guess this is my way to say thank you for staying alive, and teaching all of us how we should approach life and appreciate it. I guess that this fundraising story is my way/our way of telling her that there is nothing she can't do.
