Single mother of 2 attacked by dog

On July 23rd, my dear friend, the godmother of my son, Alicia Holhauser, was attacked by a dog in her New Westminster apartment. She sustained multiple injuries to her face and head, as well as cuts and bruises all over her body. The most severe of her injuries were losing almost half of her ear, and a puncture to her throat damaging a nerve in her jaw causing temporary damage. She has already had one surgery, with at least another to follow. She will definitely pull through, but has a long recovery ahead of her.

Alicia is a working single mom of 2 loving boys, ages 5 and 8. She is an amazing person, always willing to help out others, and always putting her friends and family before herself. She has gotten myself out of many tough situations before, as well as many other of her friends. She is one of those women that you can always count on to be there for you.

A few of her close friends, including myself, have gotten together to see what we can do to help Alicia. When she comes home from the hospital, she won't be able to return to work for some time as she recovers from current and possible upcoming surgeries. We don't want her to worry about her rent and bills for herself and her boys, as well as any unexpected medical expenses.

She is the strongest woman I've ever known, and the most deserving woman at this point. I would be super grateful if you could find it in your heart to donate to this worthy cause, to my beautiful friend Alicia!
