With my wife and kids for Christmas...

I haven't seen my wife and children in 2 years and 3 months. I have missed out on 2 Christmases, 2 anniversaries, 2 years of birthdays, my children graduating to the next level of schooling and my oldest beginning and completing her first year of college since leaving Honduras August 9, 2011. I am now a medically retired disabled veteran. I am living with my parents while everything gets re-established financially so that I can one day afford the costs of Visas and plane tickets for my family.
All I have wanted is a chance to spend at least one Holiday with my family since I was forced to leave them behind.

The money would pay for my Unofficial Passport, plane ticket, gas, and food needed for travel. There are many fees associated with international travel. Entry/exit fees for the U.S. and Honduras; plane ticket; taxi; meals; passport fees, including expedited processing; and the emotional toll of being separated for this long.

If I can't make this trip from 5 December to 29 December, my next opportunity to see my family may not be until December 2014...
