Sailing the Pacific Islands

I set out to discover the Sea and learn the time old techniques and traditions of sailing. Going one quarter around the world "the wrong way"; we are sailing east, slowly, visiting islands seldom encountered, places rarely heard of.

Setting out from India to New Zealand, visiting small islands, little towns and a couple of big cities. But mainly far away, remote places where money is no use, and trading the norm. Alas, money is required to get there, for wind doesn't always blow strong, and diesel must be bought. Food too! There are waters that have been already fished out, and there are no trading posts out at sea. So we must stock up, have up to three months worth of food and independence. This is a ship called Liberty after all! This is already a huge trip on a low budget, we don't want to halt the adventure for lack of funds!

I'll be sharing some of my photographs and adventures on a little blog, and some snapshots on the Instagram feed, whenever I get some internet connection!

This is the trip of a lifetime, an adventure of the big ones. Will you help us get there?
