Wildwood Explores the Wild!

Wildwood Elementary is a Title 1 school that has the opportunity to attend a Science Camp field trip for our 5th graders! We have a population that is upwards of 85% free and reduced lunch qualifying. This field trip will be a once in a lifetime experience for our kids, but they cannot get there without some financial help. At Islandwood our students will get to experience science investigations in a truly authentic way by conducting them in the beauty of the woods of Bainbridge Island. Science is vital to our students' futures and this trip will make it real for our kids in ways that a regular classroom environment does not provide. It will connect our kids to our local needs and inspire stewardship for their community. This trip means the world to our community.
