My name is Kajmere and I am a three time cancer survivor. I have known my entire life that my I was meant to do great things and I have been given an amazing platform and gift, my voice. I would like to use my recent experience and media attention to take my website, thepowercave.com and turn it into a living breathing entity. I want to share my stories and experiences with other youth, educators, parents and officials to inspire them to be great!
My mission at The Power Cave is to be a safe place for young people between to come together and find motivation, strategy and passion for the issues that affect them in their environment at home , at school and in their community. My goal is to arm young people with the tools needed to make positive changes for themselves and the people around them by first learning to LOVE who they are from the inside out and then to walk unafraid into the world around them carrying an empathetic ear and a heart for those in need. We know that change starts with us, the individual and that by being who we are and sharing our truths, those around us will be less afraid to share their truths and we can make change happen from the inside out.
We need to learn by showing love, offering forgiveness and giving youth the credit they deserve for being the creative knowledgeable people that they are. I want to help shape the future leaders of the world into loving, empathetic, do-ers who aren't afraid to stand up for themselves, to be the odd one out and to make change!
