Over the past month this fundraiser has been an incredible thing to watch grow. Together, we exceeded every goal I fathomed possible when I first initiated this site. It has brought us together as a community, proven our strength in numbers, reminded us of the beauty in giving and above all has made Anna feel EXTREMELY loved and supported in her recovery. :D
I am so proud to live in this special community. Through all of this I have realized that we have A LOT to be thankful for this year. So as you gather around the table with your loved ones next week, know that I am personally giving thanks to each and everyone of you for making this possible.
We will be concluding this fundraiser November 30th.
I will post again when Anna receives her big fat check from all of you!!!

Unreal. Within 4 days we met our initial goal. As people continue to show up for Anna we had no choice but to increase her goal! Imagine what we can achieve together within a week! Please keep talking it up and sharing this link with all that you know. It is inconceivable that in four days 55 people could raise this type of money, but we did it. I hope you feel as incredible as I do to be a part of this. Together we are limitless.
"Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around."

As many of you know Anna Wind was recently in a devastating bicycle accident. She was run off the road while biking to work on Old County Road. She is okay, but sustained serious injuries; fracturing her face in three places, and fracturing her spine. She will need to wear a torso brace for the next three months and attend physical therapy in Portland. She is currently recovering in Lincolnville where she is being cared for.
Due to her injuries she is unable to return to work for the rest of the season. We are raising funds for Anna to help support her through the next couple months and this long road of recovery.
Anna is a major contributor to the food community in Mid-Coast Maine. She was a dedicated food runner at PRIMO Restaurant for several years and her presence there has been greatly missed. Many concerned community members have been asking, "How can we help?"
If you'd like to contribute to help Anna get back on her feet please donate to her gofundme page!
Thank you in advance to all of the thoughtful, loving, generous people who make this community strong. <3
