Help Create with The BEasy Band

Hello, 
     My name is Mike B. I am a Song writer/producer born in New York.  To be more specific, I live in Rockaway Beach.
     Rockaway is a town full of musical history, diverse inspirations, and talented performers from all over the world, and that fact is precicely why you are here. 
      I've decided to take a slightly different approach toward releasing new music, and would like to offer the listener an opportunity to contribute towards ongoing musical projects through out the year.
      With auditory outlets such as Spotify, there is no reason for the listener to buy music these days because they can easily get every album for free. This is exactly the same case with The BEasy recordings. They will be available for FREE on numerous outlets like Spotify, Bandcamp, and Soundcloud. 
      Here will be your place to make a contribution that will go directly towards the artistic process such as writing efforts, recording,  mixing, mastering, studio fees, performances, PR, video documentation. and most of all the musicians that contibute their time and talent for the sole reason of creation.  Let me give you a better perspective as to how it all happens. 
     I have musicians like my friend Tom Swafford, with whom I had the pleasure of meeting after one of his solo violin performances in Brooklyn. We have been collaborating  ever since. He is a full time composer, teacher, and subway performer. I call Tom (or other musicians) when I have written the basis for the next record, and he comes in to make his musical contribution toward the project at hand.
       Sometimes he's unavailable and says "Sorry Mike I'm in Yellowstone Park most of the summer performing." or he'll say "I'm touring with a band in Europe right now, but i'll let you know when I'm back in town." He doesnt have to contribute his time, and talents to The BEasy Band, but he choses to do so anyway. He does this because of his love for music, and his genuine interest in the project.
     Just as our friend Jerry Weimer the sax, and clarinetist from Rockaway. "I wasn't sure which instrument you wanted. So I brought both." I remember hearing him say during our first session together.  Jerry was able to grace us all with a few invigoratingly smooth sessions before packing up, and taking off for New Mexico. 
      This is the way it is with all the musicians that work with The BEasy Band. One way or another everyone wants to contribute to creating music, and now you can directly contribute to the process of making it all happen. 
     It is here that you will get to know each musician, and understand their art. It is here that you will have the privileage to make your own contribution towards what you are hearing. It is right in this place that you can act as the label, the co-producer, and be the audiance. It is here that you can help keep the creative mind at work.
