Medical Miracle for Will

This is a true story about one of the finest men I know, Shane Goodale, and his quest to save his son from the possible ravages of an aggressive brain tumor.  Many of us who know Shane have the deepest respect for his ability to overcome enormous challenges of his own.  Having spent much of his life in a wheelchair, we remain in awe that Shane  never let that little fact affect any dream or goal he ever had. He put himself through law school, became involved in local politics and developed charitable programs.   One of the proudest accomplishments of his life is the miracle of creating his son, Will.  And one of the most heartbreaking and scary things  a parent fears - that harm should come to their child- has manifested and  greatly impacts innocent Will's well being, in the form of a tumor that has inserted itself into his brain stem.  As any parent would do, Shane has vowed that he will stop at nothing to ensure that his child has the best possible medical care, and therefore the best chance of survival.   He is a proud man, but knows when he needs support and help.  The expenses associated with flying the family cross country and enrolling Will in a state of art medical trial  in Boston, Massachusetts, are enormous and  unexpected.  We can all appreciate the nightmare for Shane, his family,  and the financial toll   this undertaking will cost.  Please help us in any way you can, and that includes prayers, well wishes and donations of any size.  Thank you kindly for contributions and concerns.
