My Journey to Switzerland

Hi my name is Ben Oliver. I am Wheelchair Racer originally from Cornwall but studying at the University of Worcester currently doing a course in Sports Coaching Science with Disability Sport.
I am currently in the process of planning a trip to Notwill, Switzerland for an international competition hosted by the IPC. (International Paralympic Comitee) This is a Grand Prix event and is included as part of the international circuit. Going to this competition will allow me to be internationally classified which will mean my times will count towards a world ranking. It will also give me experience as an international competitor. Doing this will also give me a chance to qualify for the 2016 Paralympic games in Brazil.
The competition starts on the 26th of May and ends on the 29th of May. I will be going on the 22nd however as the classification process starts on the 24th which needs to be done before I am actually allowed to compete. Going early also allows me to adjust to the new country and hopefully improve my performance.
The University have given me a grant to help with the costs for just over £600, however if I am going to Switzerland for the trip I will need around £1200 to be able to comfortably make the trip and competition.
This is due to the costs of flying out to Zurich, ( Approximately £142) hireing a car for the duration of the trip, ( Approximately £160) hotel expenses (approx £700-£800) as well as new racing gear to cover punctures, failed gloves etc. ( around £200)
The funds will be needed by at the latest the beginning of April due to me needing to pay for competetion entry by the deadline as well as having time to book the hotel etc. without being in a rush.
This would mean so much to me to be able to go to Switzerland, not only will it give experience against some of the best athletes in the world but will also mean that I can potentially get called up by British Athletics as a member of the Great British team, a once in a lifetime opputunity which could change my life forever.
I would be so grateful to anyone who is willing to help me on this journey. Being a university student on top of the training that I have to do as an athlete means that it is much harder to be able to pay the funds neccesary for something like this. I would be thankful to anyone who would give their time and money to support me.
