We are a collective of Peaceful Water Warriors from across the Nations who have gathered at the Standing Rock Reservation these past few weeks to protect our Sacred Waters and Sacred Land from being destroyed by the construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline.
Throughout the past weeks, and after many minor victories which have stalled the construction of the pipeline until the courthearing on the 24th of August, we are now looking at the necessary next steps to give our Peaceful Water Warriors the resources, platforms and outlets necessary to represent this movement to the world authentically and independent of the truth-distorting mainstream media: non-violent, creative, collaborative, transparent, and Loving
Collectively coming together as TheNextSeven, we are a core group of artists and heartactivists looking to create an interdisciplinary space for us to collect and share footage, reporting, music and art in direct response to the current events. We are committed artistic individuals gathering to stand up for our Mother Earth and not stand back and let this happen which would poison our Sacred Waters and let oil corporations continue to hurt our Mother. The time is Now to stand up for what is right and help to protect and create a better future for the next 7 generations.
Currently we are preparing for the possibility that the court hearing in DC on the 24th of August could be in favor for the Dakota Access Pipeline to continue with construction. If that is the case, we are organizing to be as prepapred as possible and all have committed to seeing this through until the construction is completely stopped. We are praying that the court listens to the people and sees the damaging impact of this pipeline and chooses to hault it all and protect the Sacred Waters and Land and do what is right.
The resources we are raising funds for will be equipment and tools that will help us to share with the world actual and truthful actions happening on the front lines. We have consisitently seen patterns of mainstream media portraying this movement in a negative and untruthful manner. We can no longer rely on these mainstream media platforms to report truthful stories or actions. We will be covering all the direct actions happening on the front lines with respect to the Native Cermonies and Prayers that we will only videotape with permission.
Our intentions are to peacefully support and contribute to the current water movement. We see our roles as standing on the front lines with our Brothers and Sisters in Standing Rock holding Peaceful Space and Prayers. Most importantly documenting and reporting these actions and sharing this movement for the world to see through our eyes and Heart.
Since being called to support this movement on the front line we have learned and realized how important and powerful this environmental cause is, not only for Standing Rock Reservation, surrounding states along the Missouri River, but to the world as a whole. All over the world our precious water is being poisoned by big corporations not looking at the big picture or the damage in the long run. Every living animal and plant needs water to survive. Water is Life.
All of us have either quit our jobs, set aside projects, plans, dreams, goals, and prioritities to support this fight. We are all running out of personal funds that have sustained us and are now learning ways to more efficiently fulfill our intentions. So every donation will help us to continue our support to Protect the Sacred Waters. We are truly grateful and humbled by all your Support, Love, and Prayers.
We will be using all donations towards equipment/tools, food, gas and other resources to sustain us. Sustainability
- Food
*The warrior camps here do serve food but we would like to leave those resources as much as possible to those warriors standing on the front line peacefully protesting 12 hours a day. The camps have also requested that everyone bring as much food of their own as possible to help with the outflow of the food production. In the last week the camp has quadrupled in size (estimated 1000 people) so anything we can do to relieve the stress of the kitchen we will do our part. We also have some people with specific diets due to health ailments (such as Gluten Free, Vegan, and Organic Produce). We also need as much nourishment as possible in these enviornments since we use a lot of energy and very rarely have the opportunity to eat a complete Lunch.

* We currently travel to different protest locations and have to drive to the closest city (Bismarck, ND), which is 45 minutes away from camp that has the organic grocery stores we choose to buy our replenishment and resources from. Gratefully every so often the grocery store will donate produce to support our cause. We also would like to provide healthy options for those at camp is our resources allow it.
