I am a member of Somerset Badger Group and also a Secret World Wildlife Response Driver.This page is set up during a very difficult time in our County.The Pilot Badger Cull has failed to cull as many Badgers as the Government wanted over the initial six weeks. An extension to the Cull has been granted in West Somerset for a further three weeks.
My aim with this page is to raise funds for the organisations with whom I am involved to enable them to continue their work with Badgers during the Cull period.
The funds raised will pay for dead Badgers to be examined by a Vet and to have X-rays, Post Mortems if appropriate and TB testing. This is all very costly but very necessary in assessing how the Badger died.
Please help me to raise enough money to make a difference.
