Homeless Angels

Until I found this website I felt my dream was far from reaching. I have always wanted to help the homeless. As a child and even into my adulthood I have always remembered the sadness I felt when I visited Washington, DC and witnessed the homeless people living on the streets of our Capitol. Men, women and children living in cardboard boxes, eating out of every trash can in site and begging for money to buy their next meal. It broke my heart then and it continues to break for them. It's something I'll never forget. Humble hearts that need a helping hand. I want so much to be able to travel to Washington, DC and other areas of the United States to help homeless people. We have hungry and homeless people everywhere, not just in other countries. Giving someone homeless a free meal and a warm coat can mean the world to them. Directing them to a place where they can find the assistance they need could change their lives for the better. It's so sad to walk up on a person down and out on their luck. Being hungry and cold is something no one deserves to feel. I've seen them laying on steps, sidewalks and benches asleep. I've witnessed them sleeping in cardboard boxes over a street vent to keep warm. Please help me help them. Over the past few years I have researched a lot of things and many places in different areas where homeless people can get help, but many or most of them don't know what to do. If I can change someone's life for the better I feel I've done my deed. But, I want more. I want to help as many as I can. I want this to be a journey of love and compassion. To show everyone who wants to witness this, I will make a journal of my journey across the many states, taking photos of those I help and post it on a blog for the world to see. Each one of us has to power to make someone's life a little easier. I want to be one of those people to help those that need it most. Please help me reach my goal so I can feed the homeless, put a warm coat on their back and direct them to someone who can help them get their life back on track. These are God's children too. Donations will be used to provide a warm meal, a warm coat, a few dollars for more meals and help with directing the homeless to a government agency so they can get assistance in turning their lives around. Fuel cost and travel to each location. Someone out there is hungry and cold. Please help me reach my goal. All donations are tax deductable. Thank you
